Image Size

When using the Embroidery designer using your design for breast and sleeve images, try to imagine the entire design and wording fitting into a 95mm diameter circle. Limit your text to what is essential, text looks better if it is 6mm high or over when embroidered. For T-Shirt designer the image size can be much larger as there is a lot more flexibility on print area.

Creating text

Click on " Text " . To create text on your product, first choose your product, then go to the box on the top left marked + New, click + and this will create your text box Type in your copy, in either caps or upper & lower case.

Use the menu to change/select your typeface, size and weight selection, then choose colour.

If you wish to have the text "curved", tick the Enable Curve Text box, then choose from the menu the degree and angle of curve required. If after manipulating the text it appears close together use the "Spacing" tool to widen the space between the letters. You can move the text by holding down the mouse, grabbing the image and moving it. You can also change the size by using the tool at the bottom of the image, rotate the angle by using the tool in the top right hand corner, or delete by using the "X".

If you wish to have more text, create a +New text box and repeat the process.

To add a Logo or image

Click on " Logo" . To create a logo on your product, first choose your product, then go to the box on the top left marked "All Logos", browse through the selection available and click to display available images.

Make your selection and double click your image, it will appear on the product selected you can now move it, by holding the mouse down, change the size by using the tool at the bottom of the image, rotate the angle by using the tool in the top right hand corner, or delete by using the "X".

The image can be merged in with text items.

To add your own Logo or image

Click on "Upload", here you will have to agree to our copyright policy before proceding to add your own image, once you have read and agreed with our policy you are free to load your own image.

What formats can you use for uploading a design?

We can accept pixel graphics in JPG, PNG and GIF format. All images must have a resolution of 120 dpi and should be in RGB mode. Graphics for mugs and badges are the exception: they need to have a resolution of 400 dpi. The image should be no larger than 1500 x 1500 pixels (ca. 30 x 30cm). The file cannot be larger than 2MB.

All design images supplied for uploading by clients for Embroidery, that carry an exterior white background will be removed unless otherwise stated in the comment box that a white area is required. Borders around images can be changed to suit colour garment selection (i.e. black keyline on black shirt can be changed to white keyline), please use the comment box where necessary.

Colour Selection

Once you have chosen you product and created your design you can change the colour of the product (where available) by using the Select a Colour tool on the right hand side, the design will remain in place and you change the colour

Quantity Selection

Select your quantity and the price will be displayed, once you are happy with your design and selection, click "Add to Cart"

your details will be added to the cart, you can go back to the design section and then continue to process any further orders.

Order Completion

Go to "Go to Cart" and complete the form with your details, then progress to the payment section which totally secure to complete your order.
